So much has changed since my last update! Nathan Snowball is going down!!! for those following the never-ending saga with scammer painter and decorator Nathan Snowball aka Nate Snow: he’s made a living by charging deposits and “job start fees” for work he never begins or finishes. Please check out his Trustpilot page for his defunct business Redhill and Reigate Painting and Decorating https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.rrpainting.co.uk which is now full of unhappy and defrauded clients, after he was finally prevented from falsifying claims to Trustpilot in order to have critical reviews removed. I’ve given up counting the number of people in Redhill and Reigate who have contacted me since I began work to expose him last June, 2023. We’re in excess of 30 people and my spreadsheet has the amount defrauded of about £50,000.
How on earth has this been allowed to happen, you ask? Being the low-life, small-time scumbag that he is, Nathan Snowball banks on the fact that if or when people complain to the police they’ll tell you that it is a civil matter and to take it up with the small claims court. I use the word “if” because those who find themselves owed money by Nathan Snowball and start asking for it back are subject to a barrage of abuse/emails/threats and toxic and stressful behaviour. The stress has seen most back down. But not me or others! Collectively, we’ve now made a difference.
But I digress… Nathan Snowball’s world has collapsed. His partner/fiancee Kirsty Cullum walked out on him at Christmas taking their young son with her. Given she paid the rent, that made him homeless. Why it’s taken her so long to leave is anybody’s mystery, but by then word was well and truly out in Redhill and Reigate that he was a fraud and he’d stopped getting jobs accepted and the flow of money had all but dried up. (well that probably had something to do with it). Such a shame because he’d gloated on Facebook how much he was looking forward to a lovely family Christmas….
Nathan Snowball’s usual sidekick and Kirsty’s father, Mick Cullum spent a few weeks trying to finish off leftover jobs in early 2024 after everything imploded but in one of life’s delicious ironies, he too was owed thousands of pounds after Nathan finally left town with his tail between his legs. But not before he stupidly tried to pretend all was well, posting his usual silliness and lies on social media in which he claimed he’d provided 58 quotes for jobs despite the fact he’d told some clients he’d had Covid again (for the 20th time in six months!!!). I worked out he’d been to about one job to quote every 90 minutes allowing for only seven hours sleep each 24 hours! I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, our Nate isn’t the sharpest tool in the kit.
So after finding himself homeless and on the lam, and pestering Surrey police about everything from a parody Twitter account harassing him for hate crimes and dyslexia to fake claims he was being threatened, probably by aliens given by this stage he was on the (insert snowflake emoji here) in a big way and drowning his sorrows, Nathan skipped town.
But not before he failed to pay the wages of one of his poor sub-contracted decorators who had sadly died. His family shamed him on Facebook. (and he is one of about four of his workers he cheated that I’m aware of, there must be more).
But just like those spaghetti westerns, word was always going to get out about our hero when he metaphorically walked into the bar in the next frontier town. And so it came to pass. Nathan Snowball, aka Nate Snow, decided to set himself up in Leeds as LS10 Painting. Being as thick as the cheap paint he uses, Nathan’s modus operandi was easy to see, and word quickly got out in the painting and decorating community of his presence. Plus within 24 hours his new Facebook site was full of people posting on it that he was a scammer. Within about a week “Nate Snow” and his new business had shut down. A victory for the people. And not a moment too soon. At least one painter and decorator was about to embark on a joint project with him; they had a very close call.
what is very important is that now he’s not using his real name, that you recognise this fraudster. so here are some photos of him so if you’re unsure whether you’re dealing with him or not, here he is. I picked ones where he’s looking a bit rough and dishevelled because, bless, he’s had a hard time in the past three months and hit the piss a bit hard, so not looking his best. Unfortunately he’s admitted to going on Tinder so god help any women in Leeds who match with him. One of my ickiest recent stories about Nathan Snowball is from one of his clients who discovered him watching porn while he was on the job. Just eeewwwwww.
one of Nathan Snowball’s favourite tactics is to enmesh you in the Small Claims court with silly, outrageous claims. I had one for defamation, and hate crimes for allegedly teasing him about his dyslexia. (All heroes don’t wear capes, hey Nate!). The good news is, please don’t worry if he does this as he never turns up for the hearing. The case against me and a separate one against another client was tossed out. He’s just a complete time-waster. I know some of his victims were very stressed by these threats and claims (if they materialised), but I can assure you that they all fizzle out to nothing. The same of his repeated calls to the police saying you’re harassing him. He gets a police crime report number and then he emails this on to his victims, implying you’re being investigated. All utter bollocks of course, but if you’re unfamiliar and/or live a law-abiding life (unlike our Nate), it can be very confronting and concerning.
One of the first clues that things were unravelling was the removal of the Redhill and Reigate Painting and Decorating website in early 2024 for reasons that will probably become clearer in coming months. Still, Nathan still maintains that it’s “having a refresh” and that he’s been “signed off” until July for mental health problems. (Rishi Sunak take note).
Nathan Snowball’s sad tosser life is sent up by a parody account called @parody_natesnow on Twitter/X for those who want to laugh at him. I strongly recommend you take a look. He’s very upset about the account and it rankles with him. As a result has decided to attack me on the same social media platform, sometimes anonymously (because let’s face it he’s a complete coward) and also under his own name. I’m sharing some of his lovely venom and threats here just for the record:
yes, Nathan Snowball is a charmer, that’s for sure. The two posts above wwere posted to try and intimidate me and have me believe that he’d applied for an injunction, using the same forms used by victims of domestic violence. (the irony).
For those of you who have experienced the delights of Nathan Snowball in all ways, it’s imperative you report him to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, clearly stating his name and the company name so that your complaint finds its way to the right person.
as somebody who has had Nathan Snowball harass my employers, my family and make countless empty threats about injunctions, police arrests etc, it’s now time for all of us to make sure nobody else has to go through what me and others have endured. I’m not a psychologist but I’m sure many would agree that the words ‘sociopath’, ‘serial fantasist’, ‘borderline personality disorder’, even ‘psychopath’ are worthy descriptors. Here he is telling me he’s going to be taking his own life as a result of me. Another empty threat, and the same pathetic threat levelled at anybody who challenges him. To which I say to Nathan: it’s time to take a shit or get off the pot…
